Alain Gauthier is an artist of 45 years of experience, totaling over 3000 live shows in Acrobatics and dance theatre, with stage giants such as Cirque du Soleil, Robert Lepage’s Ex-Machina and Debbie Brown’s Apogee. The work he also created as a movement designer and choreographer has been seen around the world by millions of spectators since the year 1999.

His career started during the 80’s as a street performer and evolved from playing to creating, with his choreography found in mega productions such as The Millennium Dome Show and later with the legendary horse show Cavalia which toured the world successfully for 18 years.  Alain’s multidisciplinary abilities has also taken him to visual arts, videography, television, light exhibits, and motion pictures.

Over the years Alain has choreographed, trained, workshopped and prepared hundreds of performance artists, ranging from circus acrobats, physical actors, dancers, television and film actors, singers and equestrian performers, film makers, puppet manipulators, creature performers and stage actors.
