As a toddler, I spent a lot of time under the grand piano while my mother, preparing for her license as a concert pianist, was pounding Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Mozart…only to name a few.  One day, I must have been 4 years old, she sat me down on the bench and showed me how to press a single key.  She then whispered in my ear something that kindled my passion for music: “Figure it out, just play, feel the notes”.  This simple invitation sent me on a lifetime journey of composing music.  I learned guitar and piano by ear, played in bands, made an album with my good friend Mark Giannetti in the 90’s; and here I am again following a new wave of inspiration.
